Postdoc position
The postdoc position is available immediately with a flexible start date. As our research is highly interdisciplinary, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds (e.g., BME, ECE, Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer science). Details can be found here.
- A track record of excellent academic achievements, including publications, patents, presentations, and academic awards.
- Have proficient experience in the processing of brain imaging data such as EEG, fNIRS, fMRI, DTI, MEG, etc. (one or more of these).
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- The pre-tax annual salary ranges from 336,000 to 480,000 MOP (approximately $41,480 to $59,250 USD), commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and relevant professional experience. The local income tax rate is approximately 5% to 7%. In addition, the postdoctoral researcher will receive conference allowances annually to support further networking opportunities.

Ph.D. students

- The duration of the doctoral program is generally 4-5 years, and a monthly scholarship of 12,500 or 20,000 MOP will be provided based on individual abilities.
- The minimum English requirements are: a CET-6 score of 430, an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no sub-score lower than 5.5), or a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based).
- Undergraduate and graduate students in BME, ECE, Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer science, and related background are encouraged to apply.

Research Assistants / Intern students
We are recruiting part-time research assistants and intern students.
- These positions are ideal for UM undergraduate and graduate students who want to gain research experience or pursue a research career and plan to apply for Ph.D. and/or M.D. programs.
- Primary responsibilities include assisting in the study design, data acquisition, data analysis, and manuscript drafting. RAs and interns will receive professional mentoring and support in career development (e.g., one-on-one weekly meetings, involving in or leading independent projects, publishing first-authored papers, and training/networking opportunities from workshops and conferences).
- We require a minimum of 10 hours per week (on-site) for at least one quarter. For non-UM students, work forms will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
